Engineers Week

Engineers Week is approaching! As you may know, Engineers Week is a great opportunity to promote the engineering profession in Vermont by attending activities such as the Edible Car and Rube Goldberg competitions, the Order of the Engineer Ceremony, and last but not least, the E-Week banquet. This year, Engineers Week commences on Monday, February 19, 2012 and culminates with the E-Week banquet on Friday, February 25, 2012.

This webpage provides links to everything that you need to know about Engineers Week in Vermont. The following is a brief description of what you will find in each link:

Engineer and Young Engineer of the Year:

Every year an Engineer of the Year (EOY) and a Young Engineer of the Year (YEOY) are selected to represent Vermont. This link will provide you with all the information that you need as an Engineering Society in Vermont to make a nomination for EOY and YEOY; including nomination forms, checklists, procedures, and the ranking forms that will be used to judge your nominee.

Brochure:

The Eweek brochure summarizes all of the events happening around the state for Engineers Week. It also provides contact information for all of the events if you are looking for more information.

Programs:

The Banquet Programs summarize the schedule of events for the Engineers Week Banquet. They also list all previous EOY and YEOY winners.

Invitation:

The invitation gives a brief description of the speaker at the Banquet as well as all the information that you need to know about meal choices, RSVPs, and payments.

Sponsors:

This is where we showcase the sponsors of the Banquet. We also display company logos on the Banquet Program and on a board posted right next to the registration table at the Banquet.

Order of the Engineer:

An induction ceremony takes place every year for Students and Professionals at the University of Vermont earlier in the day on the night of the banquet. Information about when and where the event is taking place, as well as how to sign up, is included in the links below.
